Woodson Ultimate Wrestling returned to Pensacola and the American Legion Post #33 for ‘Deck the Hall’ to benefit Toys for Tots. Despite the rare Florida frigidity, the fans filled the Legion Hall for a night of solid action, as all roads now lead to ‘End of Days’ on December 19 in Milton. The show was kicked off on a somber note, as X-Factor Champion Carlos D’Angelo came out for the “Feature Presentation.” Before any action, Carlos wanted to make a statement regarding the passing of a great brother to all involved in the Gulf Coast wrestling business: Eddie “Eki” Fatu, a.k. a. WWE’s Umaga. Following an emotional tribute to our fallen friend with the ten bell salute, Carlos made a challenge to every Superstar in the locker room, as well as the fans, to give this show 110%, “because that’s how Eddie would’ve wanted it.” ------------------------------------------------------- RESULTS ------------------------------------------------------- On the “Feature Presentation” was a special contract signing for the ‘Bourbon Street Brawl’ at ‘End of Days’ between MR. Marcus Gibbs and “Party Gras” Justin Stone. After the signing, Gibbs attacked Stone with the pen, stabbing him in the forehead. The tussle spilled out into the arena floor, and even out of the building and into Intendencia Street. Cameras followed the two out of the building, and the shocking footage of what took place should be set to release following clearance by CEO Alexander Hearse, III, and also the Public Relations Director for Ultimate Wrestling. One can only imagine the brutality that will take place in Milton when these two finally get to meet with no rules and no mercy. ------------------------------------------------------- “The Evolution” Robyn Golphin pinned Ultimate Cruiserweight Champion, “The Bruiserweight” Maze in non-title match Robyn Golphin has been looking to make a big splash in the newly revamped cruiserweight division. He got his chance with a non-title match against the “King of the Cruiserweights.” From an outside perspective, it seemed that the quickness of Golphin was beginning to take its’ toll on Maze, as he eventually was able to slow the match down to “The Bruiserweight” pace. Golphin’s quickness would prevail, however, as he backflipped out of Maze’s attempt for a back suplex, and quickly hit his “D-Evolution” and pick up the pin over the champ. With the signature win he needed now under his belt, look for Robyn Golphin to take aim at the Cruiserweight Championship in the near future. ------------------------------------------------------- As The Black Wolf entered the ring for his match against The Kid, Brian Caige came out and viciously speared the Wolf, preventing the match from happening. But the “Story of the Year” was not just content to prevent a match that could keep Black Wolf’s career alive; he wanted to make sure that the Wolf was lucky to BE alive. Caige grabbed a chair from the timekeepers’ table and attacked the now injured ribcage of the Wolf. After repeated blows from the chair to the ribcage, Caige set up and hit his “Final Take,” sending Wolf’s ribs once again crashing into the steel chair. Brian then grabbed a microphone and told Wolf that he had “two weeks left in (his) career. It’s all over.” No word has come yet from the Black Wolf regarding this attack, or on the upcoming match at ‘End of Days’ on December 19, when his career will be on the line versus “The Streak” of Brian Caige. Rumors have circulated, however, that the Front Row Fanatics were able to catch up with Black Wolf on his way out of the building and reportedly were able to hear the first words spoken by Black Wolf in known history. Check FrontRowFanatics.com in the near future for this exclusive interview. ------------------------------------------------------- “Black Sheep” Bobby Doll (with Uncle Jim) pinned Turbo Ted For Bobby Doll, it’s all about respect. Respect for this business, and respect for those that paved the way. Unfortunately for all of us, Bobby Doll feels that he included in the latter. Despite his blatant disrespect for the authority of Ultimate Wrestling, he demands for respect. Enter ‘BTY’ Colby Godwin. Bobby has no respect for Colby, because he thinks Colby has disrespected him. Bobby has even gone so far as to injure the neck of “BTY” after a devastating piledriver at ‘Harvest of Sorrow’ in Milton. The two have been signed to an “I Respect You” Match, a unique twist to the traditional “I Quit” Match, and in all likelihood, Colby took the night off on December 5 to further heal and go into ‘End of Days’ at his usual 150 percent. On this night, Bobby would face one of the few men he DOES respect: the “Meanest Man in Milton” Turbo Ted. The two put on a wrestling clinic that any student of the game could watch to learn from. At the end of the match, Ted had Bobby locked into an STF, when Uncle Jim leaped to the apron to distract the referee from seeing Bobby tapping out. As Doll tapped, Ted got up to confront the official for being so ignorant to what was going on. Once Ted turned around to pick up Bobby for another move, Bobby was able to quickly roll up Ted and get the pin. There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that Bobby, as well as Uncle Jim, know how to play the game to their advantage. There is no telling how things can play out at ‘End of Days,’ but one thing that is for certain is that someone will have respect beaten into them. ------------------------------------------------------- “The Feature” Carlos D’Angelo pinned “Party Gras” Justin Stone, def. “Story of the Year” Brian Caige in triple threat match to retain Ultimate X-Factor Championship Once again, despite the situation, Carlos D’Angelo is the greatest fighting champion in Ultimate Wrestling history. With no official number one contender, Carlos signed up for a triple threat match with Justin Stone and Brian Caige for his title. Originally scheduled to be a non-title contest and tune-up for all three going into ‘End of Days’, Carlos requested that management put the title on the line, and his request was granted. Carlos seemed genuinely concerned for the well being of Stone, who was still feeling the effects of his brawl with MR. Marcus Gibbs earlier in the evening, but Caige saw it as an opportunity to eliminate unwanted competition. After tossing Stone aside, Carlos and Caige went at it in a display of technical skill and amazing quickness. Stone spent a majority of the match on the outside, waiting for the moment to get a leg up in the match, but eventually Caige was able to take control of both men, laying them out one at a time with a facecrusher to his knee. With Stone recovering on the apron, and D’Angelo flat on his back in the ring, Caige took advantage and hit his “4 ½ Star Frog Splash” on the champion. Just as referee Danny Wright’s hand was coming down for the three-count, however, Stone made the save, picked up Caige, and hit the “Party Valley Driver” and went for the pin. But again as the official’s hand came down for the three- count, Carlos made the save, and hit Stone with the STO. As all seemed over, Caige made a leap to interrupt the count, and the match continued. Again Caige took control, and hit an implant DDT on Stone, laying him out for what seemed to be the end. But in his display of ####iness on the lateral press, he left enough room for Carlos to hit him with the high knee, sending Caige spilling to the floor and allowing Carlos to pin the still unconscious Stone, retaining the title yet again. With no match signed currently for ‘End of Days,’ Carlos is looking to the Royal Four Match for his opportunity to take his determination to be the greatest fighting champion of all time to new levels. ------------------------------------------------------- “Brutal” Joe Gibson & Ultimate Wrestling Champion Nick Virtue pinned “Superstar” Aeon Flexx & “Master of Devastation” Cameron Frost With the mini-tournament upcoming at ‘End of Days’ on December 19, all for participants had one last tune-up against each other, as the two brackets faced off in a tag team match. Bracket A, Champion Nick Virtue and Aeon Flexx, faced each other with their respective partners from Bracket B, Joe Gibson and Cameron Frost. Joe’s aggression and Virtue’s backhandedness meshed well in the match, as they were able to isolate Frost for a majority of the match. In the end, as Virtue finally put Frost away, Flexx hit the “Elevator DDT” on the Champion. But unbeknownst to Flexx, Joe Gibson was the legal man, and hit Flexx with the “Irish Wake” to pickup the pin. As Virtue and Gibson stood triumphant in the middle of the ring, Virtue went to shake the hand of his one-night- only partner, and was greeted with an “Irish Wake” with his name on it. As the other three men lay motionless in the ring, all at the hands of one man, Gibson stood with his foot on Virtue’s chest, the Ultimate Wrestling Championship raised high above his head. Only one man will walk out of ‘End of Days’ Champion. And after this night, it looks like the “Legacy of Brutality” may be upon us once again. ------------------------------------------------------- The Invasion (Reiner & Cruze) pinned “Pure” Doug Pitt & T.A. Jones to become Ultimate Wrestling Tag Team Champions For months the talk in the locker room has been on who the mystery opponents would be to face T. A. Jones and Doug Pitt. “Ultimate Wrestling’s First Sons” have been undefeated as a team, and have consistently raised the bar for tag team wrestling in the entire Southeastern United States. The newly voted Gulf Coast Tag Team of the Year had their hands full at ‘Deck the Hall,’ as they would finally meet the team that has been talked about for the past few months. Jones and Pitt came out, and said that they were tired of waiting, and that now was the time to put up or shut up. To their, and the entire crowd’s surprise, that team emerged from the curtain… Jerry Reiner and Justin Cruze, The Invasion, had returned to Ultimate Wrestling after a ten-month absence. The crowd erupted when they saw the two, and the chants of “welcome back” were an indication that things were about to change on the tag team scene in Ultimate. Before the match, all four men met in the middle, and through the deafening roars of the crowd, all shook hands wishing best of luck. No sooner had Jones and Pitt turned to go to their corner than the Invasion attacked. After working over both Jones and Pitt, they decided to single out the smaller man in Doug Pitt. Reiner and Cruze showed their veteran savvy, as well has their usual prep school maturity, as they consistently wore down Pitt into nothing. But out of nowhere, Doug was able to take out Cruze long enough to tag in T.A., and Jones stormed in like a house of fire. Flying Shoulder Tackles to both invaders weakened their momentum, and Jones was able to lock on the BBL Clutch to Riener. Jerry fought back, and escaped the clutch, only to instantly have his head kicked into the fifth row by Doug’s “Super Power Ranger Kick.” As Jones went for the cover and possible win, Jerry was able to somehow get his foot on the bottom rope, saving the match. After a few minutes, Doug Pitt was once again the legal man, but could not stay on top of Reiner, and started to tire. As Jones came in to make the save on his partner, referee Danny Wright tried to stop T.A. and put him back in his corner. The Invasion took advantage of the referee’s distraction, and hit "Chicken & Bisquits." That allowed Reiner to pin Doug, giving The Invasion their first Ultimate Wrestling Tag Team Championship. As the Invasion danced and celebrated with their newfound gold, a distraught T.A. and Doug grabbed the microphone and said that they intend to invoke their automatic rematch against Invasion at ‘End of Days’ in Milton. Add this match to an already stacked card, and ‘End of Days’ looks to be hands down the biggest show in Ultimate Wrestling History. ------------------------------------------------------- Ultimate Wrestling presents ‘END OF DAYS’ LIVE Saturday, December 19 at the Santa Rosa County Auditorium in Milton, Florida!
