| Ultimate Wrestling News and Rumors 11/30/09 IP: 24.254.113.51 Posted on 11/30/2009 at 00:02:36 AM by Ultimate Wrestling News and Rumors Thanks to all the great fans who showed up in Milton to watch “Harvest of Sorrow” on November 21st. It is what some are calling the “best pure wrestling matches on one indy card”. Ultimate Wrestling is very proud to have such great wrestlers on our roster. Not only is the talent top notch, but the great fans in Milton gave the show a great vibe. Everyone on the Ultimate Wrestling roster is gearing up for “End of Days” on December 19th. “End of Days” is a stacked card with an Ultimate Wrestling Heavyweight Championship Mini-Tournament featuring current Heavyweight Champion Nick Virtue taking on Aeon Flexx in Bracket A. Bracket B will feature “Brutal” Joe Gibson VS “The Master of Devastation” Cameron Frost. The winner of each of those matches will face each other to determine the who will walk into 2010 as the Heavyweight Champion. This will be the first time ever the Ultimate Wrestling Heavyweight Championship will be defended twice in one night. We could see two title changes or none at all. Virtue has a lot of momentum going into these matches as on December 19th he will have held the Ultimate Wrestling Heavyweight Championship for 315 days. Virtue has said he plans on holding it much, much longer. Cameron Frost has been just seconds away from winning Virtue’s belt on many occasions, but has always fallen short. Can Frost get past Joe Gibson and go into the finals and finally win what he has been chasing since May? Aeon Flexx has won titles in every promotion he’s ever worked for. Flexx has three straight pinfall victories over Bobby Doll and has a lot of confidence going into this tournament. He has a rich history with both Joe Gibson and Nick Virtue. If Frost and Flexx get to the finals, will either man have done enough home work to win the gold? Joe Gibson has held the Ultimate Wrestling Heavyweight Championship before. He knows what it takes to be a champion, and more importantly, how to become a champion. If Joe can get past Frost, he has a very good chance of beating the winner of Virtue/Flexx as he has pinned both of them before. You CAN NOT miss these huge matches. The Royal Four Battle Royal is exclusive to Ultimate Wrestling. You can not find this match anywhere else in the world. This Delayed Entry Battle Royal is special because it rewards those who make it to the end and become on of the elite members of The Royal Four. Just look at last year’s Royal Four! OMEGA became one of the most beloved personalities in the history of the promotion and had a very successful reign as Ultimate Wrestling Heavyweight Champion. Nick Virtue was part of the Royal Four in 2008 and went on to become the longest reigning Ultimate Wrestling Heavyweight Champion. Mike Jacobs was well on his way to becoming X-Factor Champion until a nasty knee injury sidelined him. Joe Gibson was the final member of the Royal Four. He won the Battle Royal and became Heavyweight Champion. Joe has gone on to become one of the key players in Ultimate Wrestling. Being included in the Royal Four guarantees title shots as well as extensions on contracts. It also brings respect from fans and peers. News and Rumors is proud to present some of the wrestlers featured in this years huge career changing match. Ultimate Wrestling Cruiserweight Champion Maze Ultimate Wrestling X-Factor Champion Carlos D’Angelo ½ Of the Tag Team Champions “Pure” Doug Pitt ½ Of the Tag Team Champions “Mr. USA” T.A. Jones Brian Caige Robin Golphin As we find out more names, we post them. Marcus Gibbs has been suspended from in ring action until December 19th where he will have a “Bourbon Street Brawl” in Milton at “End of Days”. Gibbs has been suspended for his actions against Justin Stone in Pensacola. If you missed the Pensacola show on November 7th, you missed one of the most violent acts in Ultimate Wrestling history. Marcus busted Stone open and proceeded to pour rubbing alcohol onto the lacerated face of Stone. Gibbs wanted to inflict pain into Stone. He also wanted to humble one of Ultimate Wrestling’s most beloved wrestlers. Stone has said that Gibbs has only seen the happy, dancing Justin Stone but come December 19th, he will see a side of Stone that most people, including Stone, try to forget. The current Ultimate Wrestling Tag Team Champions are nervous. TA Jones and Doug Pitt have defended their tag team titles with honor and respect since winning them at Ecstasy of Gold back in September. Ultimate Wrestling is reaching out to established tag teams all along the Gulf Coast trying to deepen the division. One team has been contacted and signed. After months of negotiations, this team will finally make their debut on December 5th in Pensacola. Ultimate Wrestling is contractually obligated to not reveal the team. Rumors are flying around the locker room as to who it might be. Pitt and Jones are having a difficult time training for this match as they don’t know how to prepare. Get ready for two big guys? Get ready for two little guys? A big guy and a little guy? News and Rumors knows one thing…this team must be very reputable to come in and get an immediate title shot. You won’t want to miss December 5th in Pensacola! Quick News, Rumors and Injury Report Johnny Rebel looks to be out until the end of the year with a back injury he sustained from Deathrow. Deathrow has been on a complete warpath. Rumor flying around is that Deathrow will be getting his first shot at gold on December 5th when he takes on current X- Factor Champion, Carlos D’Angelo. Aeon Flexx suffered a knee injury on November 21st at “Harvest of Sorrow” when Nick Virtue chop blocked him. Management told Flexx he could take off until the end of the year but Flexx turned it down, as he wants to participate in the Mini-Tournament. Flexx is going into “End of Days” with a huge bulls eye on him. Bobby Doll was fined for his actions at the end of “Harvest of Sorrow”. The UW Office called BTY Sunday afternoon to check on his neck. Colby said he’s in quite a bit of pain, but won’t miss any time. Bobby Doll and Colby Godwin are going to be facing each other in an “I Respect You” match on December 19th. The rules are simple. Make your opponent say “I Respect You” into the microphone. Anything is legal. If an competitor is not able to continue the match, his opponent wins. Doll is going into this match with an edge as Colby had a hellacious match with TA Jones and Doug Pitt but he also was the victim of a pile driver and almost got one on the floor on a bell. Has the “Ultimate Legends” fire burned out or will Colby Godwin fizzle under the pressure? Black Wolf has two more chances this year to win a match. If Black Wolf doesn’t win a match by 2010 or have a break out match, he will be terminated from Ultimate Wrestling. “The Story of the Year” Brian Caige is looking to go a whole calendar year without being pinned or submitted. On December 19th in Milton Florida somebody is going to have a record broken. |
