Woodson Ultimate Wrestling returned to the Santa Rosa County Auditorium with ‘Back With a Vengeance’ on August 22nd. Fans were treated with great matches as well as a taste of the upcoming ‘Ecstasy of Gold’ Tournament. **RESULTS** **Jet Angel def. UW Cruiserweight Champion “The Bruiserweight” Maze in non-title match** Jet Angel was out for redemption after a shady pin by Maze to retain the Cruiserweight Title at ‘Aftermath.’ After a great cruiserweight matchup, Jet was able to pin Maze after sliding out of the “Bruise Your Face” and into a sunset flip. After the match, Angel was given another shot at the Cruiserweight Title on September 5th at ‘Retribution.’ ---------------------------------------------------- **“Party Gras” Justin Stone & “Pure” Doug Pitt def. “Mr. USA” T.A. Jones & Turbo Ted in Lethal Lottery Tag Match** The big hype around Ultimate Wrestling is the upcoming ‘Ecstasy of Gold’ Tournament on September 12. The fans were treated to a preview of how the tournament will look with a Lethal Lottery Tag Match. Four superstars were chosen at random minutes before the show started to participate in this match. “The Ultimate Party” Justin Stone was teamed up with “Pure” Doug Pitt, while T.A. Jones had the draw of the self proclaimed “Baddest Man in Milton.” In the end, it was Stone hitting “Ultimate Wrestling’s First Son” with a “Party Valley Driver” to pick up the win for his team. After the match, a furious Turbo Ted attacked his partner. Jones can only hope that when the tournament comes around, he’s not paired up with Ted again. ---------------------------------------------------- **“Story of the Year” Brian Caige def. The Black Wolf** Brian Caige continued his un-pinned streak, adding another name to the list of those that have tried, and failed, to beat him. After a strong start from the Black Wolf, Caige’s pure athletic abilities gave him the advantage, as he beat the Wolf with his “Final Take.” ---------------------------------------------------- **“Brutal” Joe Gibson def. “Blacksheep” Bobby Doll** Both Joe Gibson and Bobby Doll have bigger fish to fry than what they faced at ‘Back with a Vengance.’ Both had eyes set on their respective matches on September 5th. But on this night they were given a chance to stay in shape by beating the hell out of each other. Just as Bobby was set to deliver a piledriver to Joe, however, Aeon Flexx came to the ring distracting Bobby. This gave Joe a chance to recover and using his breathtaking agility, flipped over Doll in the corner and delivered the “Irish Wake” to pick up the win. ---------------------------------------------------- **“The Feature” Carlos D’Angelo def. “MR.” Marcus Gibbs to retain UW X-Factor Championship** Carlos D’Angelo finally got his chance to defend his X-Factor Championship against the former “Chocolate Boy Wonder.” Marcus had hit “The Feature” not once, but twice with the “Bareback” in recent months, and promised that the third time will be “a golden opportunity.” “MR.” Gibbs dominated the match, but just as he was about to put Carlos away, D’Angelo was able to slip Marcus into a backslide for the pinfall victory and retaining his title. After the match, Carlos said to a stunned Gibbs, “I may have got lucky, but let’s do it again on September 5th and see.” ---------------------------------------------------- **“The Master of Devastation” Cameron Frost def. “The Former Sinner” Nick Virtue via DQ; Virtue retains UW Heavyweight Championship** Cameron Frost vowed he would not succumb to Nick Virtue’s mind games this time around. And this time around, Frost showed that he meant it. Cameron showcased just why he is the “Master of Devastation” and the Number 1 Contender by going toe-to-toe with Nick Virtue. Virtue would not have that on this night, and decided to grab a chair and swing for the fences, nailing Frost in the head and getting disqualified to retain his title. It was immediately announced after the match that on September 5th, there would be a final rematch for the Ultimate Wrestling Championship, but this time there would be no disqualifications. ---------------------------------------------------- **“The Canadian Superstar” Aeon Flexx def. Deathrow via DQ** Not many men can go head-to-head against the monster that is Deathrow and live to tell the tale. Aeon Flexx showed he is certainly one of the few. But as Flexx started to mount his momentum, Bobby Doll ran to the ring and attacked Flexx. Deathrow, who is just looking to hurt someone, joined in on the beat down of Aeon, until “Brutal” Joe Gibson stormed the ring to confront “The Man.” After the ring cleared, Joe said to Deathrow that there would be nowhere to run in the Dog-collar match on September 5th. Flexx also grabbed the mic, and told Bobby Doll that he couldn’t wait to finish everything in the Canadian Dungeon match at ‘Retribution.’ ---------------------------------------------------- Ultimate Wrestling presents ‘Retribution’ LIVE Saturday September 5th at the American Legion Post 33 in Pensacola, FL at 7pm.
