You won’t want to miss “Back With A Vengeance” on August 22nd. - “The Former Sinner” Nick Virtue will be defending his Ultimate Wresting Heavyweight Champion against “The Master of Devastation” on August 22nd in Milton, Florida. Virtue has commented that he’s not concerned with defending his belt, as he’s already beaten Frost once. Frost has stated that he’s more focused than ever and he’ll be leaving Milton with the Ultimate Wrestling Heavyweight Championship so he can come back on September 12th, win the Ecstasy of Gold Tournament and become the first ever “Grand Slam Champion” in Ultimate Wrestling. The winner of the match will have a title defense on the September 5th Pensacola card. - “Aftermath” was one of the most violent shows Ultimate Wrestling has ever held. Bobby Doll and Deathrow sent very violent, physical messages to their opponents on August 1st in Pensacola. Both “Brutal” Joe Gibson and Aeon Flexx were very banged up, but both are cleared to wrestle. Matches have been set for September 5th in Pensacola. It will be “Brutal” Joe Gibson VS Deathrow in a Dog Collar Match and we will also see Bobby Doll VS Aeon Flexx in a Canadian Dungeon Match. The rules for the Dog Collar match are simple: both men will be tied together with a chain…by the neck. You can win by pinfall, submission or Knockout. A Canadian Dungeon match is a 2 out of 3 falls scenario. The winner of the first fall gets to tie his opponent into a corner and do whatever he wants to him for 2 minutes. Signed for August 22nd is “Brutal” Joe Gibson VS Bobby Doll. This will be the second time these men have faced each other. Also signed will be Aeon Flexx VS Deathrow. This is a huge night for everyone who is involved in this very important tournament where anything can happen. Names will be drawn at random to determine teams. It will be a single elimination tournament where one team will be crowned new Ultimate Wrestling Tag Team Champions. Names just officially added are Aeon Flexx, “Mr. USA” TA Jones, “Pardi Gras” Justin Stone, Deathrow, Jet Angel and Bobby Doll! It’s a night where ANYTHING can happen. Don’t miss the first ever Ecstasy of Gold tournament on September 12th in Milton, Florida! - Jet Angel will be facing “The Bruiserweight” Maze on August 22nd in Milton Florida. The last time these two high flyers met was in Pensacola where Maze got a “tainted” victory. Maze had a handful of tights and Jet Angel was not able to get out of the roll up predicament. UW management has given Jet Angel a chance against Maze again, but in a non-title situation. Can Jet Angel beat Maze in a one on one environment or will Maze continue his winning streak? - The X-Factor Title, held by Carlos D’Angelo, has the longest lineage of any title on the Gulf Coast. It has never been stripped due to an injury or a no show. It has gone from wrestler to wrestler to wrestler. This belt dates back to February of 2007. This belt has been defended in two states, seven cities and held by nine men. Mr. Marcus Gibbs is looking to be the 10th. Gibbs is going into Milton with a ton of steam as he has a pinfall victory over the champ, Carlos D’Angelo. Carlos has never had his back against the wall in such a way as Marcus just recently had an attitude change and D’Angelo is having a tough time getting mentally prepared for Mr. Marcus. Marcus has also stated “I have an ace up my sleeve. A real piece of ace if you know what I’m saying.” Quick News and Injury Report The Ultimate Wrestling locker room and fans are already doing “fantasy booking” for the Ecstay of Gold tournament. Kiel Sasso’s contract with Ultimate Wrestling expired on July 31st. He is no longer commissioner of Ultimate Wrestling but did resign a contract. Instead, he has taken a much less stressful job as a backstage assistant. Bobby Doll recently made some disparaging comments towards Sasso. Sasso was quoted as saying “I didn’t have anything to do with Bobby Doll not getting paid or his matches. I started my assistant job the day he went all crazy on Flexx. Seems like Bobby was more concerned with himself and not the goings on of the rest of the locker room. Sounds weird, I know.” Brian Caige is still unpinned and unsubmitted. He promised News and Rumors $5 for every mention of that. TA Jones got a mark in the W column after months of losses. Jones beat The Black Wolf with little effort on August 1st. One of the UW wrestlers was quoted as saying “I like Jones a lot. He’s a good dude. He just can’t seem to win the big ones.” Mike Thrash is out indefinitely with a shoulder injury. Rikki Rocket is out indefinitely with a severe concussion. The Amish Assassin is out until the early part of 2010. Nick Virtue, Cameron Frost, Carlos D’Angelo and Marcus Gibbs all suffered minor injuries during the semi main event tag match in Pensacola. Virtue’s knee was giving him trouble. Frost injured his ribs. Gibbs took a nasty powerbomb to the corner and felt like he injured his kidney. D’Angelo had a sore neck and a swollen eye. Nobody will miss anytime.
