News and Rumors - June 30, 2009

- Bobby Doll has not been reached for comment regarding the next Ultimate
Wrestling show in Pensacola on July 18th. That last ‘News and Rumors’ heard
from Bobby Doll was that he might “do something he never thought he’d do” if
Robert Gibson’s contract was ripped up. Bobby feels he’s giving a fair amount of
warning to GM and Co-Owner of Ultimate Wrestling, Diana Drake-Hearse. Drake-
Hearse has stated that the contract will be “torn to shreds” in the middle of the
ring in Pensacola not just as a symbol, but as a message. “Ultimate Wrestling
brings the best possible wrestling show to the paying customers, the fans. Both
Robert Gibson and Bobby Doll, on numerous occasions, have treated those fans
like second class citizens. I’m not just doing this for Ultimate Wrestling, I’m doing
this for the fans. You will see Robert Gibson’s contract torn to shreds on July
18th in Pensacola. I don’t know what Bobby Doll has planned, but I sure hope he
watches Robert Gibson’s contract fall to the ring in a million pieces, knowing
that it was his own fault.”

- “The Archangel” Michael Thrash has been steamrolling through competition in
Ultimate Wrestling for the past few months. Thrash has been getting the
attention of wrestlers, fans and the Ultimate Wrestling locker room with his new
hard hitting style. His “Rolling Elbow Strike” has been laying out everyone that is
unlucky enough to be on the receiving end of it. Thrash softens his opponents
up with devastating kicks, bone shattering punches, and ligament tearing
stretches, only to knock them out cold with his devastating elbow strike. Michael
Thrash and Turbo Ted had a very hard hitting match in Milton Florida on May
2nd. Some fans are calling it the “hardest hitting match in UW history”. News and
Rumors can say that Ted may not be everyone’s favorite wrestler, but he is one
of the toughest on the Gulf Coast. Ted has been around the wrestling scene a
long time, as fans tend to remind him, and Thrash is on an incredible streak, so
UW decided to reward both men with a #1 Contender’s match for the X-Factor
title. On July 18th, in a rematch from Milton, it will be Turbo Ted facing off against
“The Archangel” Michael Thrash in a match to determine the #1 Contendership
for the X-Factor Title!

- Ultimate Wrestling management has been VERY happy with the improvement
and caliber of matches that “The Chocolate Boy Wonder” Marcus Gibbs has
been giving. Marcus is a former Cruiserweight Champion, and he is wanting to
break into the title hunt for the X-Factor belt. Gibbs went toe to toe with “The
Master of Devastation” Cameron Frost in Milton and earned the respect of Frost
in the process. Marcus has said he’s training hard for his match in Pensacola on
July 18th when he faces off against UW newcomer, Michael Patrick. Gibbs needs
a big win to move him up the card. Patrick had a fantastic match with the current
X-Factor Champion, Carlos D’Angelo, though he didn’t come up with a win. Can
Patrick get a win over CBW in Pensacola or will Marcus take down Patrick with
his stiff strikes, quick speed and his “off the charts charisma” and break out as
the next big star in UW?

- Justin Stone is a welcome addition to the Ultimate Wrestling Roster. Justin’s
new persona, the “Party Gras” is one that he takes very seriously. “There are
beads to be thrown, beers to be drank, crawfish heads to be sucked and butts to
be whipped!”, exclaimed Stone during a locker room meeting in Milton. Justin
Stone is very well liked backstage, but it is still a little odd for somebody to yell
that out for no reason. Ultimate Wrestling fans know they are going to be
entertained when Stone bursts through the curtain and “Whooos” like any good
N'awlins boy would. “Party Gras” Justin Stone will be in action on July 18th in
Pensacola at the American Legion Post 33. Bring a sign and Justin just might
throw you some beads! Bring beads and Justin might show you something to
earn them! Whooo!

Quick Rumors and Injury updates

Joe Gibson is training hard for his match with Deathrow. With the time off for the
summer, and intensive continued training, Joe Gibson is at 100% health wise, as
his shoulder is completely healed and is “good as new”.

Nick Virtue is cleared to wrestle, but his meniscus is still giving him some
problems during training. Due to that injury, Nick had to take the last show off.
Cameron Frost is riding a huge wave of momentum going into this title match on
July 18th. Has Nicks’ momentum, and reign as Champion, come to and end?

News and Rumors keeps getting e-mails reminding us that Brian Caige is still
“Un-pinned and Un-submitted”. The e-mails are most likely from Brian Caige.

“Ultimate Wrestling’s First Son” T.A Jones has promised “Match of the Night”
with Carlos D’Angelo on July 18th. . The match is a Non-Title X-Factor bout, but
Jones promises a match where he gives 110% and takes Carlos “To the Limit”.
Carlos has said he’ll make a statement regarding his match with “Mr. USA” in the
near future.

A new wrestler is set to debut on July 18th! Who will this newcomer be, and what
can he offer the fans of Ultimate Wrestling?

Ultimate Wrestling management has been discussing what to do with the Tag
Team Championship. Many options abound, but the current rumor speaks of an 8
man, one night, special event tag team tournament in the coming months.
